DDR EXTREME machine in the Citrus Park Mall TILT arcade, Tampa Florida

My review of the Citrus Park Mall TILT arcade's Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME machine.

Let me put it to you like this: NOT what it was 2 years ago.

THEN:
P1 side a LITTLE temperamental, most songs AA-able, most lights worked
P2 side left arrow didn't work, most lights worked
Sound was louder, most speakers worked ok

NOW:
P1 side temperamental, got a lot of pad misses at first. Stomping very hard "corrected" it enough [in the counter-intuitive fashion] where easier songs could be full combo AA'd, but it took a LOT of effort.

P2 side doesn't work at all, as if it is disconnected all together.

Only one marquee speaker works

Speaker volume is so low that you can't hear the music while playing... most of my crowds, I think, came because of just how much the stomping echoed across the arcade and the entire mall.

The only thing I think stayed consistent was the $0.75/3 songs, and the bar cushions.

P.S. There are MORE locations in Tampa that have Extreme cabs that work, hell Tampa is one out of a few cities in the US that have over 5 DDR Extreme cabs within a 15 mile radius.

Damn I miss the Tampa bay center! Remember that shit? They had one of the best arcades and food courts. All the big booty girls at the bus stop in the summertime, those were the days!

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE ITG machine that was at BEACH GAMELAND WENT!!!! PLEASE HELP or does anyone know if there is an itg machine that WORKS i mean GREAT pads and r21 customs in st petersburg , clearwater or tampa

@maxninja09 I heard on AIJ that it was closed down, meaning not the original location but the Maderia location. [I've been to both]

@travelsonic Uummmm actually it moved to another location. But when i went it was closed (didn't seem to be shut down since the arcade machines were hooked up and everything).

Beach Gameland is now in Madeira Beach, Clearwater.
