Also does anyone know the best resource for the best video of them? I have bits and pieces but AP is very hard to come by.. DOes anyone recommend a dvd?

I believe "God gave Noah the rainbow sign" was likely the very last and final one--is that correct?

@phantomvibrationsX yes i think it was God gave Noah the rainbow sign... though sara and maybelle played later on, just without AP since he was dead. I dont know if ive ever seen a video with AP singing. if you do please tell me!! Thanks~ Robert

Some people think I spend too much of my life studying the past but the time I've used to learn about The Carters was a lesson in character building.

I should edit my typing Treasure Treasure. AP played at a studio and would not accept the money, he only wanted to sell his pamphlets. He thought he had been forgotten but with him joining in with Maybelle and daughters the station was flooded with mail for HIM! God Bless AP - he gave away everything he ever owned and he is beloved in the Valley where he was born and died.

My Mom and Dad just came back from visiting the Crooked Rd and the old Carter family homestead. The stories they shared with me about what they learned was truly awesome and my Dad even got to sit in Johnny Cash's rocking chair.. GREAT VIDEO!!!! Thank You....

@mh605 Actually he's buried at the Mt. Vernon United Methodist church near the Carter Fold in VA. Also several members of this family are buried there. Its a short drive from where I live in Knoxville and would love to go there someday.

@mh605 He's buried in the cemetery at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Chrurch in Hiltons, VA. No dirt roads -- the church sits along AP Carter Highway (VA Rt 614), which is fully paved. Sara is there too. The church is very easy to find.
