you would take the SD870 or the new SD880 in all honesty? i'm looking for a new camera this holiday season, and would love to hear your opinion

side note - i do like taking long videos (shows, performances), and things like that. so is the h.246 worth it (the .mov file)? thanks again

I think the SD 880 (Ixus 870 in other regions) is a great camera - see my review at cameralabs . com and the best buys section there...

Excellent review. I've ordered this camera, and it should arrive tomorrow. I didn't go with the newer 870 model since I've seen some people complain about bad image quality.

Nice review. I actually learned a little bit about the SD870. I didn't realize things like grid mode etc. Thanks.

I can't wait to get my SD870 and install CHDK. Canon should just support CHDK so that they will totally dominate the point and shoot market. :)

Hi, awesome review. I just have one question though.

Do you know what is the largest SDHC memory card I can use with this specific camera? I guess the max it can read is what I'm trying to say. Thanks.
