  • This isn't from Orlando.

  • This is from ?

  • I'm not sure, but it's not from Orlando.

    Where did you find it?

    That would probably tell you.

  • This is from Orlando, indeed. It is extracted from the recording of the concert given in the théatre des champs élysées to Paris in 2008.

  • I really don't know, whether the artist is Mr. Dumaux, or for example Ann Hallenberg... I can't recognize his voice. The italian pronounciation is strange as well.

    Sorry for my eglish :-)

  • I ought to listen to Orlando again, I dont remember this scene. i think the confusion arises from the fact it doesnt sound like Handel at first. the opening reminds me of something out of Rameau's Indes Galantes (it's in Italian so it can't be, i know, heh)

  • Christophe Dumaux is such a wonderful artist. Wow!!

  • By the way, his name is "Handel" now.

  • whoops, my bad.

    you're right.

this is during the scene where Orlando tries to kill Angelica and starts singing about the ferry to Hades.

    My sincerest apologies.
