Please go to his campaign appearances and try to ask him the question on the video. The media isn't going to ask politicians any difficult questions, so it's up to us to do it. http://nomoreblather.com

  • That isn't even his voice!!!! Seriously, are people stupid enough to belive this. Show me a video with him actually caught saying that not just audio.

  • Thanks for the laughs, but that is indeed an excerpt of a radio interview with Bill Richardson. You can get that clip and many more here: tinyurl dot com/2fntad . Tell you what: you get his campaign to issue a statement saying that's not him, and I'll volunteer for his campaign. Deal?

  • For your arguement to hold any water, one needs to believe that prejudices against minorities no longer affect our society. Unfortunately, they do. Therefore, Richardson's comment makes perfectly good sence (especially when he made it, presumably in the 80s.) Reverse racism against whites IS a problem insofar as all prejudices divide our societies. In that respect, his comment could be viewed as somewhat offensive. But your question does much worse.

  • He said it around '95. Why don't you go to one of his campaign appearances and ask him to agree to this then: "Some forms of ethnic nationalism are acceptable, it just depends on the race of those involved."

  • This is more than lame; if this is the "swiftboating" of Richardson, then Richardson has nothing to worry about. Sheesh, this is what white-shoe, country-club Republicans and steel-toed dockworkers say to each other all the time: we have more power as a bloc. Dollars to donuts that this was Richardson talking to a Cuban-American group ... anybody know?

  • Let's say Richardson said this equivalent:

"We have to band together and that means Irish in Illinois, Italian-Americans, German-Americans, the French, Eastern Europeans - we have to network better - we have to be more politically minded - we have to put aside party and think of ourselves as Europeans, as Whites, more than we have in the past."

If he had said that, he would have been compared to David Duke and ostracized. Instead, he's running for president.

  • wow, what a non-issue.

everything he said made perfect sense. And whatthe morons who posted this don't understand is that nobody cares if white people (like me) NETWORK.

People care if that NETWORKING is about racial supremacy, which it is not in this example or in most example of any type by any racial group.

  • why beaner like breeder just to get welfare their bastard anchor babies treat public school like their day care to get free lunch and tons benefits, all the are ike plague spread like cancer,scums..

  • NM mmerger to mexico will be slumps, u better run for la raza leader or mexican presidente

i call u president wet back

  • Why do people call them undocumented immigrants thay are not undocumented or illegal immigrants thay are here with out any respect for our laws.illegal immigrants over stay there visa. illegal aleins are nothing more than truspassers.filling our prisons and over stresing our resorces to take care of our own people who need help

  • I'm glad this clip has been broadcast, but for different reasons. Does anyone else see connections to the civil rights movement? It too was spurred by people of a particular race "networking better."

The issues of race today are more subtle than in the past; I think a better question would be of what his proposed networking entails, and what specific direction he intends it to be headed--if he intends to control it at all.

  • New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said Thursday that the United States should increase legal immigration, a position that he acknowledges would likely cost him votes as he seeks the Democratic nomination for president.

  • FACT: Governor's have the power to send National Guard troops to the border. Google it nimrod.

    Checkmate braindead LOL!

  • dude he doesnt have the wallet to advertise enough. in the SW he'll dominate but im not sure if hell even get the nomination
