portishead, that's a boring band, to put to sleep a fuckin baby.
-
That song is fucking deep.

This is the first time I am actually sad that The Verve have split up. Seriously, aaaaaagh, I would chew off my left hand to see them live!
-
the best band of my generation...

I sit and wonder, I often wonder
I sit and wonder about the things she does
I sit and wonder, I often wonder,
Ive been waiting for this moment to come
And shes the teacher and im the pupil but i aint learning anything at all,
Now im falling into the black hole and i can barely feel the sun
Yeah i sit and wonder, I fall to pieces
Ive been waiting for her to come
A bed of roses, her cheeks like peaches,
Yeah i aint going to wait no more,

My favorite song off "Forth"... This was AMAZING at Coachella!

yah definitely this is the best song on the album... this song is fucking really good!!!!
'owhhhh, owhhhh'...lovely

my itunes review said the exact same thing: mccabe and jones need to move center stage. a little too much RA. Judas and Columbo have their moments (when RA is not goin at it).
still, I like the album. no weeping willows, but 4/5 Verve is 10 times better than anything else

Just fekking great. As good as the magic of old. Just turn McCabe loose.
Problem is, they don't do that often enough on the new album. RA is too forward in the mix as well. Sounds like another ill fated solo project, with mere hints at something better.
I'm not giving up, but . . .

Have you listened to the finished album? Don't judge without knowing. The name of the album is Forth not fourth, and what does Portishead have to do with anything? They are completely different styles and talk about a group that lost it, Third is dreadful.
This song is utterly, absolutely, fuckin phenomenal. McCabe and Ashcroft are geniuses!
