What he was mentioning about the virgin:

What if the original text actually says that it was not referring to an actual virgin, but a young woman? We need to remember that the Bible was translated from Greek, and it passed through SO many different translations before we got the text in our occidental language.

How will we know if we don't have the original text in its original language, and if we did, we don't understand the original language anyway.

Strong's #G3933

παρθένος

parthenos

par-then'-os

Of unknown origin; a maiden; by implication an UNMARRIED DAUGHTER: -VIRGIN.

(emphasis mine). The Bible is inerrant:

2 Timothy 3:16 - "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness"

God IS able to preserve His Word and He has.

thank you very much for this. I bought this book a while ago and began reading it but stopped because i did not agree with some of the things he was talking about. there is this part on pg 46 and 47 how he talks about the bible and I got the feeling that he did not believe in reading th bible at home by yourself...? anyways, it is sad that he is getting popular and it seems that his direction is the youth.

@aalr1986 What if God is so powerful that He can preserve His Word throughout the ages. What if we truly have a God who can handle His business. We believe God has created us and this world, but find it hard or impossible for Him to preserve His Word. I have never been able to understand this line of thinking. Just a thought. Be blessed.

Thank you for uploading this. It is what I have been trying to tell people. I watched the nooma videos in church and walked away disturbed. And at a complete loss of people around me not understanding the godless teachings. The "I'm okay and you are okay" theology. "Ignore the contradiction between your lifestyle and the bible", for "We have made a better god." This dangerous trend in churches has caused a loss of morals and virtues. Lets shine a light on all false prophets.
