My Senior Art Project. Clouded Leopard suit took me 275 hours with in a years time. The base of the costume is sewn with a sewing machine... all 200+ spots are hand sewn. Nose is made out of bake clay as well as the nails. The hind paws are old shoes that were set in a box of great value spray foam and later shaped. The pads on the feet and paws are made from a foam sleeping pad covered in leather to slow down wear and terror and prevent them absorbing water. Eyes are made out of cast resin then painted with a reflective yellow paint so they reflect back at night like a real cat. whiskers are made from and old fiber optic lamp I found at goodwill. Any Questions on fur-suiting techniques feel free to message me.
