Greyhound Seizure Part III

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram and the Dallas Morning News published the block from which the 28 greyhounds were seized. In one of the comments to the article, it was said that the guy would dump the dead dogs in a nearby creek. Having every intention of searching myself, I went down there. I was too scared to get out of my car--people began pointing at me right off the bat (once they saw a greyhound sticker on my car). I bet he has more dogs already.

Also, the greys were kept in a shed behind the house, which had to be a detached garage (as told to me by an officer with FW animal control). The mixed breeds were just in his postage stamp-sized backyard.

Oops...hit "Go" accidentally. As I was saying... I tend to think of country life when someone is hoarding dogs. Not in this case--his whole neighborhood had to know what he was doing. Just sickening...

What struck me about that street was how small the lots were. When I think of someone hoarding greys and mistreating them I tend to think of so

This man is sick. >=/ I'm so happy that animal cruelty is a felony now... I hope he gets his ass kicked in court.

You are a brave person just to even drive thru that part of town on your own! Your videos are heartbreaking, and what they've put these beautiful dogs through is unconscionable. Thank you so much for all the work you do as part of this rescue operation. I have IG's myself, but have a special place in my heart for Greyts ... and all sighthounds.
