Simplicity Vacuums - Made in the USA

Simplicity Vacuums (and their sister company Riccar), a division of Tacony Corporation, are one of the only brands of upright vacuums Made in the USA. Local CBS news station KMOV recently featured the Simplicity manufacturing facility in St. James, Missouri in their "Good News 4 a Change" segment. The story focuses on the importance of products being made in the USA and the bold move of this company to bring even more production back to the US with their canister vacuums in a time when many companies are importing jobs to save money.

Electrolux may have their home in Sweden, but that doesn't mean they do not hire American workers to build their products.

That said, Simplicity not only employs Americans, it is an American company itself.

And, Simplicity vacuums are superior.

My Simplicity 7350 had a four year warranty. Excellent cleaner. Motor died after eleven years. Plan to buy another this weekend.

These are not the only uprights made in the USA, Aerus Electrolux is made here in the USA too.

I've owned a Simplicity Vacuum over a year now and we love it. Ours still has the original belt. Their belts are made of Kevlar, the same stuff used in high qualitiy auto tires and body armor for the military. Although it's relatively light, more of the key components are metal instead of plastic. "MADE IN USA" YES!!!!

Simplicity is the only vacuum manufacturer that continually improves it's current design instead of scraping it for a different model. Every time an improvement s made,they come out with a different version. The Synergy we sell now is up to x9.10. No other company has been as committed to create and sell a better vacuum as Simplicity . American ingenuity is on full display with this outfit!.

not just for vacuums, talking about lots of thigns, food, toys, electronics, we need it back in USA, and to tell you people, I am iwlling to spend a little more money for made in USA products as long as they are equal or better qualty
