@megaman12521 I think you worded that wrong; to say "flattery gets you nowhere" is the moral makes no sense, because flattery clearly got the fox what he wanted--the cheese. The moral is better stated as "Do not be fooled by flattery" because the crow was fooled by the fox's words and ended up losing his dinner because of it.

hahaha this is the one aesop tale I grew up on.....the rest I didn't hear until I was a teenager. lol!

@otero51254 intresting that this is actually a tale from a great storyteller of morals that pratically almoast anyone can understand and was told to children and the moral was flattery gets you nowhere im 13 but practically knew this story since i was 6 and was a easy tale to comprehend now im 13 and i just dont get how people dont understand stories from a book. sorry for any mispelled handwrighting the computer is very laggy...

Oh my god. Now i can understand it, you see i am taking English IV at my school. When i read it out of the book it made no fucking sense, specially with the literature use in the book, it sucks. Thanks for uploading this..
