A rock or chair can't pay taxes, only people can pay taxes. And corporations are people. It was a pure ignorant rant by the hoi polloi that Romney dealt with well and was right; it is as if Milton Friedman was never born, disgraceful.

Also corporations are ubiquitous, from the local businesses to the larger multinationals. Executives do have 'special rights' but they do not protect them from criminal or civil transgressions. Corporate executives can go to prison for inter alia fraud etc
