Since the Khmer Rouge genocide of the 1970s, Cambodia has been defined by war and tragic loss. In 2009, American artist and educator, Dan Schwarzlose, traveled throughout Cambodia and filmed, edited and produced this video to honor Cambodia's aging master artists and their young proteges who will lead an inspired renaissance of Khmer music and art. To say i’m astonished by the quality performance of these musicians is to put it mildly. Arn is a ROLE MODEL, he lived in America, see The Flute Player PBS documentary, thus his American accent. Thanks for sharing this amazing video!
