Fallout 3 "New Game Crash" Tutorial

And cut the downloaded file and go to "My Computer" then open "Program Files" then open "Bethesda Softworks" then open "Fallout" and paste the file in there.

To fix Fallout 3 freezing on PS3 turn off all autosave features.

If you are playing on Xbox 360 and your game keeps freezing around Rivet City then you have a rare texture loading error and the only fix is starting a new game and save.

UPDATE: If the game still freezes at the beginning of the game intro or the first cutscene then this will NOT help you! If the Intel Mobile Family Chipset is the problem the game will NOT load at all. There are other fixes for the freezing issues.

@fahsky I'm having the similar problem. i found a (edit) fix which got me past the character setup but then it crash when i start to walk to the dad.
