R Rev motorsports from Portland,OR brought both their Supras and the 1000hp Mirage and stomped the competition at Battle of the Imports in Kent,WA at Pacific Raceways 2007 season..Red supra ran a best time of 8.1 and the white supra ran consistent 9.2's..

1100 hp and all it runs is 9.20's?

1100 whp and only low 9's i though imports were faster, our 79 camaro with 800 hp at the flywheel runs 9.20's, a 9.16 being its fastest run, imports suck.our camaro has a 406 small block, w/ all eagle internals, flat top pistons, h-beam rods, holley 1050 dominator, pro line top flite heads, 2 speed powerglide, 5.38 richmond gears, strange 33 spline axles, transbrake.5800 rpm stall converter, 685"/.695" lift cam custom cut not sure of duration.

@MrRunegeek2 Also id like to add that supra marco built was just to show how much hp the supra could put down. If he were to build it for drag, with all the necessities of drag cars, then im sorry that car would probably be the only import in history to run under 7 in heinseight 6s without having to be a much lighter car(like a civic or celica) that got an engine swap. Plus the top fuel dragsters are usually built up to 2000 hp then with the aid of nitro methane it boosts there hp to like 3500

@TEFLONTHADON Well lol i finally got back to this comment, here it is. Darins six speed 1200 hp supra ran an 8.3 on slicks, supras as everybody now knows can pull even more hp than that, and if your were to put 1800 hp i couldnt even imagine what times you would get on drag radials. Actually if you want proof that the supra contradicted the whole "theres no replacement for displacement" then check marcos supra. its well over 2000hp and without nitro methane( what they use in top fuel dragsters)

@MrRunegeek2 I see it lol but your wrong. Garth ran a 7.98 with the stock 6 speed, not an auto supra's need, and that was with "only" 1500hp. Sal P runs 7.4's at over 190mph with 1800 hp on drag radials. Faster than any street supra. Lee Saunders ran a 7.9 with 1200hp on pump gas, once again faster than any supra can pull. You TT with T88's and it will one, never spool, two, blow up when it does. PS that 1900 hp "Yellow Bird" You see here on youtube only had 1200 hp.

@TEFLONTHADON although u prob wont see this reply because ur comment is 2 years old ill put this here anyways, it took 1900 hp for a viper to hit 7.99 in the 1/4 mile and it takes a supra 1000hp to run close to bout not quite 7.99 and thats jus single turbo, if people wouldnt be so ignorant in building the engine around the new greddy t88 38gk turbo u cud prob twin turbo it and achieve sixs on slicks but were talking at least 1500hp im not gunna lie vipers r quick but supra is a better tuned car
