Waiting to Begin Again (Chapter 2) (Part 2)

READ PART ONE FIRST! also i think for the videos i'm just gonna put the people who are in the chapter or are mentioned in the chapter and then the Jonas Brothers cause i know you guys like seeing pictures of them lol. so it will change to depending on the chapter.
did you guys watch the live chat? i didn't cause i was reading but i saw videos...i love honor society more and more everyday...i mean obviously i love JB but yeah lol. and i love that they're being more honest and that they're acting more like brothers and teenagers...it's good to know they're not robots like my brother constantly insists they are lol.

"Okay, but they actually play instruments and write their own songs."
"Sure."
"You know, you can meet them if you want. They're real nice guys. They opened for part of that Hannah Montana tour I worked and they asked me on their last tour, but I was already committed to the Cheetah tour."
"Um I'll pass."
"You know most girls your age would die for this chance."
"Not me."
He laughed a little. "You never were one to follow the crowd."
"Well, what'd you expect with parents like you and Mom?"
"What'd you mean?"
"You didn't follow the crowd when you had me at 15."
"Yeah...that's not the kind of not following the crowd you're doing, right?"
I laughed a little. "No, Dad, don't worry. I'm still a virgin."
"And this got awkward."
"That was the point, so that we could stop talking about it."
We sat in silence for a little and then he said in a sort of teasing voice, "So how's the boy?"
"What boy?"
"I talk to your mother. The boy you haven't stopped talking about."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"You're bad at lying."
"I'm not lying."
"Yes you are."
"I really don't know who you're referring to."
"The boy you've been hanging out with, goes to your school, I hear he's in your English class."
"Oh you mean Tyler? Sometimes I forget he's a boy."
He laughed. "if you're ever in trouble with the police, just don't talk."
"You think I'm gonna get in trouble with the police?" I asked with my puppy dog eyes.
"All I know is you suck at lying."
"Okay, but Tyler's just a friend."
"All right, whatever you say."
We ate and then he took me home. As we stood in the living room, we both knew what was coming. "Try to be good for your mother," he said after a silence.
I stared at the ground and nodded.
"I'll call you as often as I can."
"Whatever," I mumbled.
"Hey," he said, grabbing my chin to bring my face up to him, "I'm gonna miss you."
I didn't respond. I just dropped my eyes. I was barely holding in my tears.
"I know this is hard. It's hard for me too."
"Then stay." I was surprised to hear myself say it.
"I wish I could, babe, but I can't." He slowly rubbed his finger under my chin.
"I know."
"I love you, all right?"
"I love you too."
"Okay," he said as he hugged me. I hugged him back and buried my face in his shirt. But soon he had to pull away and leave.
"Sweetie, are you okay?" Mom asked from behind me.
"Fine," I snapped without turning to her. Then I ran up the stairs and straight into my bathroom, throwing off my sweatshirt on the way. I opened the bottom draw and dug through to the back. I took out the razor and two wipes. I wiped off the razor and removed the sweatband on my left wrist. I cut into my arm and let the blood drip out into the sink as I let the tears finally come. I cleaned off the razor and returned it to its place. I finally placed a tissue over the cut and pushed to get it to stop bleeding. I wrapped the tissues in others so Mom wouldn't see the blood and washed out the sink. I had gotten good at hiding this. It was just a procedure in my head, a check list. Finally, I sighed and looked down at the new cut surrounded by the scars of old ones, one for each time my dad had left.

for this one why don't we say 20 comments between the two parts...keeping my expectations kind of lower so that I don't get too let down lol.
