The Police played in Bombay, Rang Bhavan, India on 1980.03.26. Attendance - 5000 people sellout. The Police became the first British rock band to play in India. This was the first world tour.

Remember a bunch my friend's from Wilson College, Mumbai went for this concert. It just seemed like an impromptu jam session by an up and coming western rock group travelling through India at the time. Last minute I decided not to go. The concert blew everyone who attended, away. They gave some rave reviews about it. I still regret missing out. What a trio. Thanks for this great video - takes me back to a memorable time and place.
