Why did the ruin HSC? They got rid of tootle, the horn, and the nice contests and jingles they used to do. Now it's so boring that I never watch it anymore. And why did they change the name from HSC to HSN?

I remember these segments at age 11. Going back 2 years earlier, i already recall watching HSC commercials with that station jingle playing in the background. I miss listening to that back in 1987. I also miss Carol Spring where she would brighten folks' spirits with some of her operetta talk while hosting in between. The tooty I remember. I'm waiting for these 10 minutes of old school videos of her. Where is she after nearly 24 years? I attended 93rd st. elementary then.

Anyone remember Bill Roller and the "In Your Interest" segment?

I remember Carol Robinson doing the "In Your Interest" segment in the mid-to-late eighties. While I was attending Alta Loma High School during that time, I happened to see Carol at one of the school's events; she was so happy to know that I was a fan of hers! Were we both watching the same Ontario / Los Angeles version of "In Your Interest"?

I remember HSC:Home Shopping Club, when they used to aired it on KHSC Channel 46 in Ontario/Los Angeles (during it's pre-Telefutura days, with their call letters :KFTR).
Seeing this clip does bring back sweet memories!

I used to watch HSC back in my high school days when I'd be doing my homework and needed some noise around me to keep me distracted. :-) "Can I get a toot for my Dog Sparky?"
