737 Home Cockpit Approaching Innsbruck

Don flying the visual into LOWI

This is not a perfect flight nor is the sim complete. This is really just testing. In fact, the reversers didnt engage on the runway at the end of the flight which is why Don gets off centerline as he is trying to stop it an figure out what happened with the reversers. You also here the Terrain waring going off, again, this is just a configuration issue but alas...its taken two years to get this far and lots to do still so please try not to criticize.




Cockpit is primarly made from components made by Flightdeck Solutions in Canada so see them if interested in building one of these. The software running is FSX for visuals with standard 737-800 flight model. The MIP and CDU software is by Sim Avionics which can also be purchased through Flightdeck Solutions. www.flightdecksolutions.com
Visual is made of 3 Mitsubish EW230U-ST projectors via a Matrox TripleHead2Go and Nthusim screen warping software.




Please dont ask me what this all costs because frankly I dont want to even think about it :-(.

@brapintap this scenery is by Aerosoft and is an addon. I agree that it is terrific. Orbx also makes great scenery.

@skipsassy1 Not true, in all honesty, I've flown hundreds and hundreds of hours on the sim and reading before I took flight lessons and when I actually got in the plane I found it easier to fly and actually got my Private License in 40 hours. But I guess everyone's different...
