Video taken 7/19/2008 at Terry Ranch Road just outside of Cheyenne, WY. The helicopter in the video contains a film crew from the History Channel who were filming an episode of "Extreme Trains" on the Post Train.

  • @HughFromAlice the diesel is there dynamic braking. and that is the normal 26 car consist of the Denver frontier days train to the biggest rodeo in the world.

    That is one mighty long train. Would I be correct - judging from the colour of the diesel and consist that the steam engine was sent out to rescue the diesel? Looks very powerful. Apparently upgraded steam engines could save the railroads hundreds of millions in fuel costs every year at the current cost of fuel!
