ＨＯＮＤＡ ＣＢＸ１０００ CBX Racing

うちの常連のマシーン、サウンド最高です、さすが本田君の６気筒ですね、
ホンダ・CBX（シービーエックス）は、本田技研工業が1978年に発表し、翌年より海外への輸出が開始されたオートバイ。CBXの名前がついているオートバイは他にもシ­リーズ車種として数種類存在するが、単に「ホンダ・CBX」と表記されている場合は本車種を指す。
当時の輸出市場で人気絶頂を誇ったカワサキのZ1000を性能のみならずイメージやメカニズムも含めて打ち負かす、最強のフラッグシップとなるべくして開発された。最大の­特徴となる排気量1047ccの空冷直列6気筒DOHC24バルブエンジンは、往年のGPレーサー「RC166」を模したもの。6連装の28φCVキャブレターを装備し、­オーバー100psとなる105psを達成。モーターのようなエンジンフィールと、ジェット機と評された独特の排気音で人気を集めた。

元々はワークスレーサーイメージのスーパースポーツとして開発された車両であったが、大柄な車体と重量、採用されていたダイヤモンドフレームの剛性不足などからスポーツモ­デルとして大成功とは言えなかった。しかし6気筒エンジンをできるだけコンパクトにまとめるべく採用された背面式のジェネレーターや各部に採用されたジュラルミン製鍛造パ­ーツなどは、後のマシン開発に受け継がれた。

However, the product made in duralumin forging parts adopted in generator and each part of adopted back type were inherited for machine development of the back in order to gather up six cylinders engine as possible compactly.

dont buy 6-1. it gets lower power, you will deffently feel it. the original exhaust goes better than the 6-1 pipes.
