you took a couple minutes to real that in? i was actually fishing in the outer banks ( same place u caught your fish and i caught a bigger drum in about a minute and i had the line off the shore about 150 yards

My grandparents have a beach house on Figure Eight Island, have you ever been down around there for red drum? With all my years fishing down here I have NEVER caught a red drum and i would love to. Do you have any tips?

This video is probably 4 or so years old. These days since I have started fishing Redfish Tournaments (which are exclusively artificial baits) I rarely fish live baits. With the exception being if I have a clients on board that are very young or old or just inexperienced. I really need to post some of my newer videos using lures like: topwaters, spinner baits, gold spoons and soft plastics.....
I'll get around to it sometime soon!
