@kekexdaisuke It's just to draw people in, the movie explains why the wolves were hunting Neeson's group.

Seeing this movie tomorrow - can't wait!

I saw this today. I didn't think it would be that good, but it was actually intense & thrilling. If you're going to see it, WAIT AFTER THE CREDITS because there is another scene to the movie. Half the audience left upset because they didn't see the last scene.

This movie was one of the best I've seen. Liam Neeson's one hell of an actor!

For those saying this isn't what wolves would do, please read: 1) It's a film. It isn't supposed to be 100% authentic (that's what TV specials are for), it's supposed to be a primal, chilling adventure (which it is); 2) the film doesn't demonize wolves. It is saying that nature will defeat man, in spite of his best defenses, and 3) a predator will do whatever it takes to survive. Lions will attack elephants, polar bears will attack walruses, etc. This has all been scientifically proven.
The Grey is intense, majestic, and sinister.... a beautiful film. I expected nothing less from Liam Neeson.
Also, the plane crash scene, could be it's own short film. Oh my god... Very real and extremely scary.
I wish everyone would stop bitching about the ending. Nothing is more annoying than hearing the asshole in the back "Whaaaaaaat? I don't get it..." You have to be incredibly stupid and shallow to not understand the ending. It doesn't NEED answers, just understanding.

uh, wtf. Wolves don't behave like this. They avoid humans if they can.
