that's awesome that dai and the drifting community made such awesome charitable jestures. unfortunately, red cross is notorious for NOT using funds appropriately. if you research their history, they are pretty scandalous for using most of received donations for inhouse staffing from the pres, vp, and on down. it's best to contribute any funds to grass roots organizations that actually do ground level charity work with individuals.
