  • @CodysXboxCustoms Im in GA. A permit is required here. We can run red white and amber. No department marking required.

  • Nice setup, I have a few questions though, I seen you said you have a permit for the lights, but if you were responding to a call and the police seen couldn't they still pull you over since they don't know you have a permit, and second I know in some states red is only for EMS and chiefs and captains of squads, so could you get in trouble if you were in another state with different rules? and third legally can you go over the speed limit and run red lights?

  • @abram7117 thanks. If I were responding in my truck, running lights and sirens, it would only be inside the district I work for. The police are well aware that we run calls in our POVs. If I were in another state, I wouldn't be using my lights, unless maybe to shield a disabled/wrecked vehicle that was in traffic. All my lights are clear when off. My department's SOPs do not allow us to exceed the speed limit, even when driving the rigs.

  • what happens if the police finds out you have those lights ?

  • @MrJamDiaz The police will not do anything as I have a permit for the lights. However, you should check your local laws regarding the use of emergency lights on your personal vehicle.

  • NICE TRUCK AND SET UP

  • sweet truck deserves a nice lightbar

  • what state you in? also what are the rules for emergency lights in your state? because when i put them in my truck we dont need a permit. just have is clearly stated somewhere on your vehicle that you belong to either a squad or fire department which im on both. also we can only have all blue or all white. no mix

  • i feel left out with my streethawk now...

  • i like the set up. your trucks looks good. this video gives me a couple more ideas for my f350. currently i have strobes, 2 dual head strobes in the extended cab windows, and a loaded Code 3 MX7000 on the roof. all complimented in the sounds of a grover 1510.

  • needs a full bar other than that sweet

  • @F250PSD OK man thanks
