Well 14USC1 makes the USCG a branch of the armed forces, he spend about 10 years in the USCG, so yes he has a military background. While in the CG he was a part of TACLET, a Maritime Law Enforcement Academy instructor as well as a part of the International Training Team. So no, he is not a CAG Operator, but I assure you... lol, he has some significant Federal Law Enforcement as well as MilOps experience. This is not to mention his civilian work with AMTI etc.

I think you missed out on the entire comment thread! The arguement is not whether he served with USCG or not, the point was that he has no Military service in his background. NOT AN OPERATOR like most sheeps like to believe. His past coworker on the other hand (Travis H)has many years on a two way firing range
