Zapolarny: The place where I was born.

Zapolarny is 150 km away from Murmansk. It is behind the Polar Circle. There we have a polar night (the sun is absent all of the day) and a polar day (the sun is shining all of the day). It is a very young city. It was founded in 1956.

Thank you. I was there last August on a road trip from Sweden and it seems like one of the nicer towns on Kola. I also liked Monchegorsk. And of course Murmansk. :)
