Back in the early 1980's, Defender for the Atari 400/800 was the best home version. Great graphics, superior sound, and all-around fun.

Need to pick this one up! great looking game on the Atari computers and controls a heck of alot better than its 5200 counterpart i bet too.

This game is by no means easy even at the "Easy" setting! Defender is one of many Atari XL/XE games that are noticeably more difficult than their 2600 equivalents.
