  • Thos is a very cool arangement, and it's nice to see a bluegrass version of this Merle Haggard song.

  • The original banjo player was Billy Wheeler (circa 1984), followed by Randy Driskill, Brian Fesler, Dale Perry, Steve Dilling and then Sammy Shelor.

  • I like this arrangement.

  • lively crowd... looks like the retirement home brought a bus to this show. good cover, though...

  • This is real!

  • @1996WHW IIIrd tyme out's origional banjo player was Terry Baucom. He was with them when Allen Bibey picked the mandolin

  • actually Barry Abernathy was with IIIrd T O orginally... one was or another it was Perry, Dilling and Shelor! :)

  • Dale was the orginal, after he left Steve Dilling was their Banjo player... He went with Russel Moore and made IIIrd Tyme Out... and then Sammy became the banjo player in 1993!

  • I thought Sammy Shelor was th origional banjo player. Was Dale Perry filling in on the gig?

  • Buckwheat Green has one of the best tenor voices that ever came out of West Virginia.
