The clip for "When Yer Sad", set in an underwater wonderland, is described by Rogers as "surely a work of small genius". Shot in the watery depths off Port Douglas, filming was briefly interrupted when the Rogers, taking a break on shore, was hit by a dishevelled looking elderly gentleman falling from a coconut tree.

  • Been searching for this for years. Only just found it by accident. I kept searching for When Your Sad You Am I lol. Why didn't I think to type in Tim Rogers? I didn't think, I didn't think, I didn't think!

  • Australia's greatest songwriter.

  • Hey georgiekaye23 - if you buy Tim Rogers' cd 'The Luxury of Hysteria' the lyrics to this, & all tracks, are available in the cover artwork.

The entire cd is worth buying

  • Does anyone know where I can get the lyrics from?? Please.

  • well you listen to the guitar at the start, it sounds very much like a You Am I song from awhile ago called Handwasher. And the chorus is very simalar, and the back up vocals even sound like Davy Lane as do the drums sound like Russel Hopkinson. But yeah i just think he should of done this with You Am I

  • i cant see how this could be a you am i song ?

  • i really think tim should of done this with You Am I

    STILL AWESOME!

cant wait for you am i's new album

  • totally agree, a masterpiece

  • Anyone who hasn't gone out and bought the Luxury of Hysteria, please go out and buy it because it's Tims best work, even better then Hi-Fi Way and Hourly Daily...
