@iluv2viddyfilms It is not essentially the same gun, as the Chinese copy is nowhere near as reliable. Also, the Type-56 may have permanent spike bayonet, while the AK-47 doesn't.

A type 56 is based on the AK-47 and is essentially the same gun, just a Norinco/Chinese manufacturer. And to the poster of the video, as much as I love the AK and guns, I had to dislike the video. Actually it's for the reason I love guns that I disliked the video as everyone who owns firearms knows it is reckless/unsafe/irresponsible to shoot firearms over water unless a self defenese/life threatening situation. Please give gun owners a good name. And from a boat seems reckless too.

Quality is very poor, but you can still see the hooded sights, meaning it's a Type-56, not an AK-47.

@tgs455 So you're telling me that in all your target shooting and trying all those different stances, you came to that conclusion? Yeah right, My target stance has my right elbow above my ear. The higher up your arm is, the better support you get. Take it from me, someone that has years of shooting experience and is an instructor.
