Special Thanks to God for making everything happen!
Back in 9th grade, a friend and I decided to make a small no-budget adaptation of the life of Christ. I have always been a HUGE fan of the films of Cecil B. DeMille, who is my favorite director. Films like both versions of his THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, and KING OF KINGS, have been some of my favorite movies of all time. I've also always loved both versions of BEN HUR, and epics in a similar vein. This was my stab at making a Biblical epic with no actors and even less money.
It's pretty much a crappy video with 13 and 14 year old kids in fake beards and sheets, featuring highlights from Christ's life, with a few things added or subtract to make the story flow better. And yes, all but one of the several characters are played by one of two actors, so you'll have to pay attention to the character names and situations and have some prior knowledge of the gospels. It's not a very well made film (I was 14, whaddaya expect?) but I did my best at the time, and tried to give it an extremely Middle Eastern flavor, through use of costumes and music (special thanks to Peter Gabriel, Alfred Newman, and others.)
It is VERY minimalist, and you will have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks.
Here is the first chapter of the first part. Please enjoy!

The original music is wonderful!! You don't need to add from the other soundtracks. The Jewish harps add a wonderful sound because it brings out the richness of the culture of Jesus'time. find more of the ancient Hebrew music, find ancient Roman and ancient Greek styles with proper mixing, and some intense dramatic themes, you would have an awesome soundtrack. where did you get the opening theme from with the Jewish Harp I'd love to find it.
