LAPTOP Magazine recently reviewed two MIDs — the Clarion MiND and the Viliv S5 — that seek to activate your small and useful gadget hunger, both for less than $1000. In fact, if you can forgo 3G, you can get either for under $600. Though these devices are both about the same size, they have some pretty drastic differences. Which you choose to covet will depend on your needs.

  • sorry I didnt watch whole video.

    What OS does it uses?

  • @ndafastlane9891 Both the Viliv S5 and the Clarion MiND are "small laptops" - they are both x86 and can run Windows AND Linux, both just ship out with different choices preinstalled.

  • cab this be used as a skype or yahoo phone?

  • Mac OS and windows are the best linux is one of the best FREE OSs

  • wtf its pronounced mind dumbass not min d !!!!!!1

  • how much are they???

    (pleessss respond)

  • Clarion is better, it runs linux, and linux is one of the best operating systems, plus, the Viliv, is bascially a really small laptop, and i bet it cost a good bit, so might as well go for a laptop rather then Viliv.

  • the clarion mind also can run ubuntu or xp but you need either the drivers for the os or the premade ones

    mindbuntu

    MiNDWiPE
