there's no way this guy is a profitable player. Way too tight, maybe at those low stakes he can turn a small profit.

@tobse3001 but u have to watch 4 flush/straight draws. keep in mind that in any form of omaha, each player has six holdem hand combinations. u have to determine how an opponent would play strong draws on the flop, ex. lower set+nutflush draw, combo flush+straight draw, etc. While set over set is a dream situation for the guy with the higher set in holdem, no hand in omaha is perfect.

@sukikomandos i'm not a fan of danglers, but folding two kings with a suited ace is pretty nitty, especially in that spot. i would've at least seen the flop, and if i hit somethin good like a set of kings on a dry board, nut flush draw, combo straight+flush draw, etc., i'd play the hand fast. if i didn't hit at all, i would've folded.
-
omg KK with a suited ace is an allin hand for me :)
-
wtf AcKc7K, im not folding that for one raise never in any position, and i dont suck at plo...
-
@8to1fav good luck playing hands with danglers out of position...
-
@ElephantRage Yeah hes a nit, I mean come on at least see the flop. It would have been funny if the flop came out with a King in it and 2 clubs lol
-
way to many terrible players make poker strategy videos
-
Did he really fold AKs + K?! Wow. I dont play PLO that looks pretty wrong...
-
WTF!!! Is this for real?!! The dude just folded a suited AK with pocket Kings in the big blind to a half stacker's cut off open. I cant believe that this guy is allowed to be a trainer on the site. It is just scary that someone might watch this vid and interpret this guy to be an optimal player. Any decent PLO player would say you have to 3bet that hand and try to get heads up against the half stacker and just play the flop to your equity. Its just sad......
-
I don't play PLO but you really were folding some good hands there...
-
i just played some micro PLO @ stars (winning). I think its good to play aggressive.Just fold if u get 2 much re-action. Im not saying u shouldnt mind ur starting hand, but folding KK preflop is just stupid... i mean if its like KK27 off its pretty tough to play, but set over set is one of the best things that can happen 2 u ( and it happens quite often @ omaha) and KK is a good hand vor holding the higher set ;).
-
folded KKA7 suited Ace folded from big blind? u got to take a flop wasnt a massive raise to call
-
WTF HE MUCKED IT LOL
-
if anyone of retards knew how to play poker you werent in this channel.. the only one who can play poker here is me i just have no money to play
-
actually not that bad people just like to bitch about other people.....in omaha your best chance to win is to only play nut hands...so many times have i been on full tilt with the second nut flush or straight only to be beat. only in live games where you can read your opponent should you commit chips if you got a marginal hand.
-
this video is atrocious my friend i cant get over the first fold lmfao hahahaha that was sooooooooooooo bad.
-
to the omaha beginners: don't take this guy serious!! wow what a nittish donk!
-
Actually, this guy's play is probably correct for the lower limits. I the higher limits I would agree you have to play a little more aggressively.
-
this guy is not bad but his play is more suited for tournaments then omamha cash games....need to play more aggressive in 6 handed play
-
You're not doing any good by not potting it. You dont have a made hand. It is a semi-bluff and you telegraph it badly. You are always better off potting vs. that many other players on the flop with that hand.
-
you shouldnt put up instructional videos on PLO if you dont know wtf you´re doing. has to be the worst video ever, dont listen to this guy
-
"Big pocket pairs are overplayed by Hold Em players" - yes, because they put too much in postflop on bad boards with them. Not because they see the flop with them. Doofus.
-
lol folded a pair of Ks with a suited ACE in omaha, what a donk!6 handed
I admit this guy is a little nitty, but he is playing it safe. Hes just showing the noobs how to get the best of it everytime. I personally play pretty LAG when it comes to PLO and don't really take this guys advice too serious.... But most noobs don't even understand the concepts of the game.... I guess that was his goal. To teach the fish their ABC's in PLO. Don't knock him, at least he tried. Nice Try dude!

With 3:1 pot odds, folding AKKx with a suited ace is far too tight/weak, particularly 6 handed (even out of position). You are looking to flop the nut flush draw, a set or better. If the preflop raiser has AA, you have one of his redraws if you flop 3 kings.
