Cedric ranting at the Big Day Out Festival.

Here's my take on the video:

At The Drive-In has always been against "slam dancing". Before shows they would ask people to behave and take care of each other. This practice probably came from the band Fugazi; they also asked their audience to behave and not hurt on another.

ATD-I was probably against "slam dancing" because innocent people were hurt (a young woman died that same day at Big Day Out when Limp Bizkit played due to the popele "slam dancing").

Whether Cedric says "white" or "wise" is unclear, but I believe he says white. No real use in arguing about it though.

Whether Cedric was on drugs during this performance has been debated.
