1975 Kath Malmberg WORLDS LP United States

Second place American Kath Malmberg finds herself surprizingly in 2nd place after a set of strong figures, and a good short. She skated admirably well, but fell on a double axel, which for some reason, dropped her all the way down to 5th place. The next skater, Christine Errath of East Germany would fall badly as well on a triple toe loop but still finish in first place. Go figure (skate)!!!!




Kath, from Rockford, Illinois sounds remarkably similar to an earlier Rockford skater Janet Lynn in the interview before her performance. I challenge you to close your eyes, and tell any difference at all in the voice.
