This is a black & white version of the already existing version on Youtube.

The video existed some time ago already, then it suddenly disappeared...
I'm just bringing it back to life!

P.S. I'd be very grateful if you view and comment also the other videos I uploaded

Joe Pass plays: "Prelude to a Kiss" and "Ain't Misbehaving"

  • Thank you so much for reposting this! I've missed it tremendously. Stuff like this makes me wonder how anybody can be so talented, if you know what I mean.

  • You're welcome! The deal with the talent seems to remain one of the secrets of human being.

I've just noticed for myself that it is borderless in every sense.

  • MarcelMaier - Thanks for taking the time and effort to post. Very enjoyable.

  • You're Welcome!

  • Rest in peace.

    My favourite jazz guitar player.

    Absolute genious.

  • This is one of the best Joe Pass clips I have ever seen and there are many, many great ones out there. I'm sure Joe would be pleased that this one is available to watch.

  • Joe, you 'Ain't Misbehavin'' on that guitar, that's for certain. Great stuff. Thanks for your music n my life.

  • Joe is playing a D'AQuisto Excel. Made, of course, by the greatest guitar maker of all time, James L. D'AQuisto. Joe owned two D'Aquisto's. One is in the exhibit in the music museum in South Dakota. The one in this video.....who knows, but the sound is incomparable!

  • Thank You Very Very Much! Joe is a ARCHETYPE Hero of mine.

  • His playing is so perfect.. sometimes understated..he never clashed with what Ella was doing but everything he did was sublime... flawless..easily the greatest jazz guitarist that ever was

  • Is it the ibanez he's playing here?

  • The Master, he had it.

  • He's playing Makin' Whoopies

  • Very inspiring!

  • @MarcelMaier well i dont think anybody is "to young" to appreciate this kind of music...

but they are just hearing rather then realy listening.

People dont take time to understand it.

I just became 17 and I fell in love wit jazz about 3 years ago.

It was only when i took guitar lessons 4 years ago that i realy took time to figure it out.

And now im striving to surpass this man (^^)

well atleast trying to learn any source i can :P

  • awessssomeeeeeeeee
