In 1979, I was hired by Jimmy Perkins to join the Townsmen Band here in El Paso Tx. Don Walser was just leaving the band when I joined. Played the old VFW and other local places with those guys.Brother Wynn Pickham on Steel guitar and Tequila Sunrises.......hahahaha:) 27 years in El paso and some great memories~Herb

God Bless Don. Saw him at Cain's in Tulsa and have some of the recordings. I first heard "I'll Hold You In My Heart," which blows my hat in the creek and gives me tears.
