Nice video. Amazing terrain they were skiing and on those savage slippers called Scott boots, and bindings with no real heel. Damn.

Back then they climbed the route they skied. Patrick Vallencant was arguably the greatest among many great extreme skiers.

too bad he died in a climbing accident, tragical as hell, his wife didn't die long after that aswell in a climbing accident also i think :(

Last 15 seconds must be footage from when they were skiing down the aiguille blanche. This descend alone made them immortal in the world of extreme skiing (of course all the other stuff they did is incredible). I would love to find the complete video of their descend, but it's so difficult
