  • @dsadasey, whaaaaaat??? an EMT took a man's foot from the scene? haha now that was stupid and really weird, unless that EMT has a foot fetish to the extreme. Not Cool at all.

  • @bree2496 Yeah Northern Cali is nice but so far out of my class of 30 peeps about 10 people were hired immediately after passing their Nclex and actually some are getting interviews as we speak. So the ratio for jobs is not that bad at all.

@EcuaRican386 Thanks bud, I have been watching the Discovery Channel too much...lol

  • @KOOL2011 are you serious? another Medical student licensed revoked!!! wow time to make another video about that, jk, lol are the people in the medical field really that dumb & where do these people come from?

  • @dzignindiva no, to get unemployment you have to be laid off for a reason outside of your control. If he got fired, which I'm sure he did, he will have a very hard time collecting unemployment. Also unemployment is abysmal in the U.S., which is only around 60% of what your income is. Impossible to live off of unless you have a spouse who works. The only places where people get decent unemployment is in the Netherlands like Denmark and Switzerland.

  • @medicvideo I agree. Losing your job and license is anything but a 'slap on the wrist'. All that schooling for nursing EMT down the drain. Losing your job which is essentially your livelihood in this recession, not being able to feed your family, pay your rent/mortgage, gas, food, etc.

  • Mendoza I accidently hit dislike on your NJ EMT HIPPA Violation, I totally agree with you!!!!!! I was meaning to hit "Liked". I apologize. I subscribe to your videos and enjoy them because they keep me focused. Please accept my apology. Is there a way to take it back? I also hit liked. Just wanted to let you know of my mistake. Keep up the good work!!!!! You are a natural, and such a good speaker!!! And I know you are an excellent nurse. Again, so Sorry.

  • Oh yea he deserve a slap on the wrist! My allied health teacher told us before we went to volunteer at this shelter that we cannot take pics with the people because it violates their privacy and hippa I'm only 16 and he's what 50 he should have known this.

  • Losing your license and ability to make a living is hardly a 'slap on the wrist'. It is a MAJOR punishment. As for jail time, you need to learn a little law. HIPAA violations which are not themselves in furtherance of a crime (like stealing a patient's identity/SSN/credit card numbers) are not crimes which are punishable by jail time.

  • I live in South Florida and an EMT did something similar. "A man who lost his foot and part of his leg in a 2008 crash on I-95 in St. Lucie County is suing a paramedic who swiped the foot from the crash scene."

  • There are some strange people out there and this guy had no morals for what he did. His career is over, but he'll probably collect unemployment and still make more money than most folks on his unemployment....I hope not!

  • I think, you go to school, and its no easy thing to do, you get your license, what an accomplishment, the hard work paid off. To have your license taken away, that has got to hurt! I think its punishment enough, he does not get to practice again, por pendejo!
