If Tyson Gay had the start Asafa Powell had he might have run a 9.60 or a sub 9.60. Asafa's start was amazing and Tyson's top end speed was out of this world maybe better then Bolt's top end speed. I'm just saying.

Actually that's a very difficult question to answer right now. Usain bolt has a very strong advantage over Tyson Gay in terms of world record.
That means the situation is very very difficult for Tyson in terms to overcoming these records.
I firmly believe that Tyson has the potential to further improve his performance in both events, at least about 9.60 in 100 meters, but that he does at or better than Bolt, frankly I'm not so sure.

Actually Tyson is the second best athlete in both events. I've always thought that Tyson has the ability to at least break the Johnson's personal best in 200m because Tyson has been much more consistent than Michael at this event, although Johnson has won all his races in this event.
The fact that Tyson can beat Bolt at in one meeting does not necessarily mean that he is better than Bolt, of course that being better than the other is shown by their consistency.
