vnois is a step sequencer with built-in synthesis and effects for monome & arduino. i made it as part of a series of pure data workshops at a10lab in peckham, london, led by oscar martin and luca carrubba. some parameters can be modulated by the performer, whilst others are controlled by generative processes.

  • 2:25 thats exactly the same tune House Harkonen have playing to the Baron, and he turned knobs on his winded instrument to get that screaming noise to do it.

    Can't recall the time in the Dune movie it can be found at, but I guarantee its there. Noise for barbaric, blood-lusting, barons.
