Taste of INDIAN culture......this holy festival is celeberated in Telagana region (Andhra Predesh) in favour of Godess of power MAHA KALI.
BONALU " meals" is a ritual offering of meals to the mother godess.
Potharaju, the brother of mother Godess...is represented in the procession by a well built, bare bodied man, wearing a small tightly draped red-dhoti and belts on his ankles,and anointed with turmeic on his body.
