@franformefantage I've done the Dead at high water and the Kennebac in a canoe. Never made it to the Penobscot. Just have to know what your doing. Yes my first run down the Kennebac was scary, but I made it without swimming..

@cataclism22 You are right on the money, my friend. I guided for Northern Whitewater for 26 years.No computer generation fake-ass in this video. It's all the real deal! However, a lot of the real bad "this can kill you" spots are gone now; all washed away by the constant slugging down of high velocity water for years and years. But in the 80's and 90's it was fookin' out of control, as you noted. Regards.
