  • The film isn't linking directly with the sprockets over the middle part? Is this really important?

  • @SoniClub Yes, because the sprockets are what drive the film counter and advance mechanism. Use light thumb pressure on the film next to the film cassette, to give enough tension as you wind the film onto the take-up spool. This should give it enough tension so that everything properly engages.

  • Hi Kai, I need serious help!

Whenever I load my mini diana with 35 mm film I wind it and thats all fine, take the photos, winding the film as I go on.. however, when i get the film out again after I have taken all the photos the film is blank. There seems to be nothing on it, and Im not just being silly having the lense covered, its just not taking the photos. am I doing something wrong? Thankyou please help i am desperate!

  • @ChooseLoveXo Your film is light sensitive, so if you are looking at it to see if there is anything on it, you have ruined the film. The film, after you have shot it, must be rewound back into the film cassette, and then taken to a photo lab to be processed and printed or scanned. Only then, will you see what you have taken photos of. You can find a film photo lab at many drugstores, or you may have a local lab that can process your film.

  • Do i need to make this in the dark...????

  • @hvbyco No, the film cassette and camera are designed so that the camera can be loaded in daylight. Avoid direct sunlight when loading the camera.

  • @cizie100 You can pick out any film, as long as it is 35mm film. I always use T-Max 400 color film. You can pick it up at CVS for about 5 dollars.

  • @MrTinoco19 it may depend on how fast/slow you are turning your film advance wheel, i wouldn't worry about it

  • Thank you this was so Helpful lol...Im a little slow when it comes to loading film cameras :)

  • @lqb2 thanks!

  • @TVMeusPensamentos you need to do this in order to reset the counter.

  • Why do we need to take a shoot before loading it?
