It is possible with the gun but the gun can mounts on top so if it is turned downward like this
great stuff it will not work (like writing with a pen upside down) This is the messiest product to use having to use heavy duty solvents like acetone is crazy.
can't recommend. Also important to properly ventilate, if enclosed space turn off pilots, Appliances that might spark.

@bigavelli13 : I completely agree on the "not reusable" statement. It gets tacky WAY too quickly and does NOT come off of gloves, fingers, skin. On the contrary, DAPtext Plus, Multi-purpose Foam Sealant is brilliant (washes off, isn't sticky, and reusable).

dont ever ever buy Great Stuff, it is a terrible product. The cans are not reusable so once you start to foam something you need to continue foaming at a rapid pace or it will dry up and be useless. Buy a metal foam gun with a few cans of E-Z Flo foam. itll be like 50 or 60 bucks, but worth it. great stuff is shit in a can

Hey Fitzy, your mom gave me a rim joist last night. Can I apply Great Stuff to the pie holes of Jets and Yankees fans to shut them up too. Don't feel bad about doing infomercials, tough times, you should have seen what I had to do in college to get by. Nice to see you again...GFY, and eat a big bag of caulks.
