Addison: what do you-

Nick put his hand over her mouth and looked at her straight in the eyes. He removed his hand from her mouth and then led her over to his bed and they both sat down. They were both silent for a few minutes, but then Nick decided that he needed to say what was on his mind.

Nick: I think we should talk about everything that happened.
Addison: what do you mean?
Nick: I think you know what I mean.
Addison: fine, what do you want to talk about?
Nick: well, first of all I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for everything that happened between us. I know that it wasn't either of our faults, but still...

He reached over and took her hand in his. Bus surprisingly, she didn't pull away.

Addison: I'm sorry too, about everything.
Nick: I just want to be able to be friends again, like before everything happened. You were always the one person that I could tell anything to... and I miss that. I've missed it every day for three years.
Addison: I miss that too Nick. And I would really like it if we could be friends too. But do you think that it would be too awkward now?
Nick: I don't know, but I am willing to give it a try. I mean, you were my best friend... and I still consider you to be the best friend that I ever had.
Addison: is it totally lame that I still consider you one of my best friends even though we haven't talked in years? (She joked)
Nick: it's not weird at all, I feel the same. I'm glad were going to give this friendship a try.
Addison: me too. (She smiled) But I should get back to my room; I have some un packing to do.

Addison got up walked over to the door. She opened it and looked back at Nick.

Nick: I missed you. (He said sincerely)
Addison: I missed you.

She walked out the door and Nick felt relieved that they were able to put everything past them and to be friends again. But something just didn't feel right in his mind, he couldn't put his finger on it, but something was definitely bothering him.

*The Next Day*
The next morning, all the boys decided to go to the tux shop since the girls were going to be gone to look for Kate's wedding dress. So, the boys all hopped in Kevin's car and drove to the shop, which was only a few blocks away. Kevin and Joe were in the front and Nick was in the back.

Joe: so are you excited? (He asked Kevin)
Kevin: Yeah, I am. I think that after I get my tux it will really feel real.
Joe: I'm happy for you man, Kate is perfect for you.
Kevin: thanks Joe. (He smiled)

They both looked back at Nick, who was staring absentmindedly out the window. They knew what he was thinking about, but neither of them knew what to say.

Kevin: so Nick... what's been on your mind man?
Nick: I think you know. (He admitted)
Joe: you don't still love her do you?
Nick: no. I mean, we are completely different people now and we are better off as friends, right? We tried it, it didn't work, and we're over it.
Kevin: are you sure?
Nick: yeah.

They pulled up to the shop and went inside. They looked around at all the tuxes, and Kevin decided that he wanted something classic. Joe was trying to convince him to get a blue suit, but Kevin wasn't having it. He finally came to a tux that he thought was perfect. It was black, with a white shirt and a striped gray and blue tie.

Kevin: this is the one. (He said triumphantly)
Joe: but that one is boring! (He complained)
Kevin: just because it isn't blue doesn't mean that its boring Joe! (He laughed)
Nick: well I think that it's perfect for you Kevin. And Kate will love it.
Kevin: thanks man. (He smiled) and by the way, I have something to ask you two.
Joe: if the question is should you get that black suit then my answer in no, you should get the blue one!
Kevin: Joe! This is serious.
Joe: fine, what is it?

They all sat down at one of the couches in the corner and Kevin smiled at both of them. Nick and Joe didn't know what was going on, but they went along with it.

Nick: what is it that you want to tell us?
Kevin: well... I tried to decide who I wanted to be my best man... but I couldn't choose just one of you. I want you both to be my best man... I want you to be my best men.
Joe: you mean I have to share with Nick?!
Nick: you still act like you are five years old Joe. (He joked)
Kevin: what do you two say?
Joe: duh Kevin, of course we will be your best men!
Nick: we wouldn't want it any other way.
Kevin: thanks guys.

Nick and Addison are friends again... or are they? Can they actually put things behind them and become best friends again or will something get in the way? Kevin found his perfect tux, but will Kate be able to find her special dress???
