Toyota Carolla 1.8 VVTL-i T-Sport * 0-60mph in 6.5s (Blitz SUS Power Induction Kit) *

This is a standard Corolla T Sport 1.8 VVTL-i the only modification on it is the Blitz SUS induction kit which adds (10 Bhp, I think). The tested 0-60mph (0-100kmh) in 6.5s (is calculated using my camera with 30 frames per second) which beats the cars original spec so well done Blitz!

@bryan2JZGTE Hi I think the VVTL-i, which is when the cam lifts, kicks in at 6200 RPM (I think)

@adamY2K I'm guessing it was deliberate.

Makes the compressor look a lot faster.

Also brings the insurance down because it's only 14 compared to the CTR being 18.

I got 6.2, Ive noticed something about the official specs, probably the person who tested it for the government didnt know how to drive this thing and shifted at like 6k revs, cause everyones ive seen is a lot faster

I make that just under 6.5s on stopwatch too - you need to check from releasing hand break ;) A far cry from Toyota's specification 8.4s. The offical BHP is 189 - I would love to know if the induction kit (the best for this car type) has taken it over 200BHP.
