George did it once by mistake, John heard it and thought it sounds good so he wanted to put it in thi s song. I read it in Geoff Emerick's book, he's their recording engineer.

The feedback as I understand, was initally an accident... but it sounded soooo good, they kept it in. I think it was George that got a bit too close to his amp and there you go!
The Beatles will live forever in the hearts and souls of generations yet unborn. I was 7 when they did the Ed Sullivan show. Loved them them, and love their music now.
