He's a big inspiration to me to, I'm from Iowa and a bassist, that whole group in general is a big inspiration just because of that. I mean I grew up twenty minutes from Corey Taylor's home town, its so weird thinking about them as grammy winners when there are no one else from our area like that.

The first slipknot song i ever listened to was before i forget, then duality.
then i wanted to learn duality, so i grabbed my guitar, the found out the intro was on bass, so i got my self a gibson epiphone thunderbird gothic bass, and found this video.
1 year later, this man, my hero, passes away.
your still an inspiration to me bro, and you'll live in my heart forever.
R.I.P paul, your still a hero, even from the grave.
